Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings made with Moray Golf Tours, a division of AKH Business Group Ltd., registered in Scotland. By confirming your booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. Booking and Confirmation
1.1 A booking is considered confirmed once Moray Golf Tours has received your deposit or full payment, and you have received written confirmation by email.
1.2 All bookings are subject to availability. Itineraries may vary slightly depending on golf course and distillery schedules.
2. Payments and Deposits
2.1 A 50% deposit is required to secure bookings made 60 days or more prior to the tour start date.
2.2 For bookings made less than 60 days before the start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2.3 The remaining balance (where applicable) must be paid no later than 60 days before your tour start date.
2.4 Payments can be made by bank transfer or PayPal.
2.5 Your booking is not fully confirmed until the required payment has been received.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
3.2 The following charges apply:
More than 60 days before start date: deposit retained.
30–59 days before start date: 50% of total cost retained.
Less than 30 days before start date: 100% of total cost retained.
3.3 No refunds will be given for unused services or missed activities.
4. Alterations by Moray Golf Tours
4.1 We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, golf course maintenance, or supplier availability.
4.2 Any significant changes will be communicated in advance, and we will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative.
5. Pricing
5.1 Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
5.2 Prices are based on the itinerary and inclusions detailed at the time of booking.
5.3 Any additional requests or extended services will be quoted separately.
6. Insurance
6.1 Clients are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel insurance covering cancellation, personal accident, loss or damage to property, and any golf equipment used during the trip.
6.2 Moray Golf Tours accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings.
7. Health and Safety
7.1 Participants are expected to act responsibly and follow safety guidance provided by golf courses, distilleries, and activity providers.
7.2 Moray Golf Tours accepts no responsibility for injuries or accidents arising from failure to follow such instructions.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Moray Golf Tours cannot accept liability for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, strikes, natural disasters, or travel restrictions.
9. Group Bookings
9.1 The person making the booking acts as the lead guest and accepts responsibility for all members of the group.
9.2 Any communication from Moray Golf Tours will be sent to the lead guest, who must share information with the group.
9A. Transport and Daily Schedule
9A.1 All transport provided by Moray Golf Tours is for travel between your accommodation and the scheduled activities included in your confirmed itinerary, and return to your accommodation at the end of each day.
9A.2 Transport does not include airport or train station transfers unless expressly stated in your booking confirmation or arranged in writing prior to your tour.
9A.3 Should you wish to be dropped off at an alternative location other than your booked accommodation, you will be responsible for arranging your own onward transport back to your accommodation.
9A.4 The daily schedule of activities is normally planned to run until approximately 5:00pm. Any services or transport required after this time may be subject to additional fees, which will be advised and agreed in advance where possible.
9A.5 While every effort is made to adhere to the published schedule, timings may vary slightly due to course tee times, distillery bookings, or other logistical factors beyond our control.
10. Your Responsibilities
10.1 You are responsible for ensuring all personal details provided at the time of booking are accurate.
10.2 Any changes to your travel arrangements should be communicated promptly.
10.3 You must ensure you are physically fit and capable of participating in the activities included in your tour.
11. Liability
11.1 Moray Golf Tours acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party providers (such as golf courses, distilleries, and accommodation partners).
11.2 We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers.
12. Complaints
12.1 Any complaints should be raised during the tour where possible, allowing us the opportunity to resolve the issue promptly.
12.2 If a satisfactory resolution cannot be achieved during your tour, please submit your complaint in writing within 14 days of your return.
13. Governing Law
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
